Secrets of Anti-Aging Skin Care - The Art of Staying Young. George A. Scheele, M.D. Wind 'n Sea Press, La Jolla , California , 2004.
In this book I discuss the scientific basis of skin aging and the use of nutrition and anti-oxidants to reverse skin aging. The importance of avoiding excessive exposure to intense sunlight, smoking and environmental pollutants including pesticides, cigarette smoke, gasoline fumes and dirt particles are emphasized. The concepts of molecular and cellular healing, developed in the 1980s, are underscored in relation to maintenance of undamaged, youthful skin.
